You can obtain the TDO-certificate by attending 20 ECTS of courses in the area of environment or sustainable energy. The courses for the certificate may be obligatory or elective courses of one’s own education programme and can be attended as well in the Bachelor phase as in the Master phase.

 

The certificate programme

 

To obtain the certificate, students have to do two obligatory basic courses: ‘Technology and Sustainability’ and a Multidisciplinary Project  on ‘Sustainable Development’. The other credits are filled up with elective courses, of which at least one policy and two technical  courses (both related to environmental/energy issues). At least one of the two technical courses must be attended at another faculty than your own to guarantee the multidisciplinary character of the certificate.
